My Life In A Castle

I would rather live in a castle because I could be the queen and rule everyone in the castle. I could even were a shiny gold crown on the top of my head. I could ride on a coutage. The chef could make a yummy dish for me. I would have solders protecting me in the castle and I won’t be attacked by other solders.

I could even have a lot of helpers for me. I even could be free with no work for me. I would even be wereing a pretty dress. I would even sit on a comfortable chair. I even could get up the castle and see are solders doing a good job. I would have some helpers to welcome someone to the castle. I could sleep on a comfortable bed. everyone will give me a pretty dress and follow my order. They also be kind to me. My life will be happy.

Group 2: Second and Third Grades

Students in this group were asked to respond with three or more paragraphs. They had forty minutes to write their responses to this prompt: What do you think is the best subject in school? What makes it the best?

WinnerMegPari

Meghana, 3rd Grade

I think that the best subject at school is Reading for 3 reasons.  One reason why I think this is because if you understand how to read fluently you can be successful in almost everything.  You can be successful because for almost everything that you do you will need to read.

The second reason why Reading is the best subject is because it is easy to understand and even if it is hard for you there are many techniques that can constantly prevent you from making reading errors.

Lastly, Reading is constantly helping you every day without you observing.  Even right now!  Reading is almost like the brain of subjects.  Reading is an impressive subject and you can be successful with almost everything by having good reading skills and recognizing a few techniques.  That is why reading is my favorite subject and maybe yours too if you have curiosity in learning.

Group 3: Fourth Grade through Fifth Grade.

Students in this group had one forty  to write five or more paragraphs in response to this prompt: Would you rather be the smartest, kindest, or funniest person in the class? Why?

WinnerNysaAhluwalia

Nysa, Fourth Grade

Have you ever wished to be the kindest, smartest, or funniest person in the class? I have and it is to be the smartest. Some people want to be the funniest or kindest but I choose smartest because I can help people with their work, I can win cool prizes and get scholarships, and I can make my family and teachers proud.

If people need any help with their homework I can study with them and teach them new things. For example if one person is doing their homework and they are really struggling, I can teach them what to do.  By doing that we can go on cool fieldtrips and raise more money for our school. The money that we got can be used for making our school stronger and better. Last we can use it to get new options for lunches.

Along with making our school better, I can win cool prizes and get scholarships to a good college. For Example if I train harder for my studies some people may like me to come and join their school to learn and get even better. I can also win prizes and represent my school. For Example my mom was very smart and represented her school. She won so many prizes and trophys.

I really want to make my parents and teachers proud so if I get into a good college I will make them proud.  My teachers are all teaching me for my good and are trying to make me smarter and a better learner. But another thing that they would love is if you do good and are the best you can be. My parents also want that for and that is why they are paying for me to go to school and classes.

In addition in my opinion I would love to be the smartest person in the class because I can help people with their work. I can also win prizes and scholarships such as trophys and gold medals. Last I can make my family, friends, and teachers proud. This is why I would love to be the smartest person in my class.

Group 4: Sixth Grade through Eighth Grade.

Students in this group had one forty  to write five or more paragraphs in response to this prompt: Would you rather be the smartest, kindest, or funniest person in the class? Why?

WinnerNoelleChong

Noelle, Sixth Grade

Would you rather be the smartest, kindest, or funniest person in class? Well, in my opinion I would want to be the kindest kid in my class for many reasons. First, I would want to be the kindest kid because being kind is a trait that is good to have throughout your whole life. Secondly, I would want to be the kindest kid in my class because you should always be kind to everyone. Lastly, I would want to be the kindest kid in my class because having a personality like that is something not everyone has but you might have. I would want to be the kindest kid in my class because being kind is a trait you should always carry through your life, you should always be kind to everyone no matter if they are your friends, and you should always try to be kind to make a difference in the world.

Why would I want to be the kindest kid in my class, well here is my first reason to start it off. Being the kindest kid in class is a really good trait to have and should stay in you throughout your entire life. Being kind can lead to things in life that you might not even think would happen. For example, what Martin Luther King Jr. did, fighting for black people rights was the right thing to do. This showed how kind Martin Luther King Jr. was to do such a thing. He didn't only care about himself he also cared about his environment and the people around him. This is who we should be rather than the bad people we have in this world.

Secondly, I would want to be the kindest kid in the class then the smartest or the funniest kid in class because you should always be kind to everyone. Even though at school kids are not your friend, you should try to help them out if they need the help. If you need help some time in the future most likely they would help you out too. This is how you be a good person and have a good heart. Helping someone out might seem like a big thing to do, but actually it's not that much. If you help an elderly cross a street, it would definitely make their day! After helping someone out like a kid, adult, or an elderly it makes me feel good inside, how does it make you feel after helping someone out?

Lastly, I would want to be the kindest kid in my class because not everyone in the world has a personality like that. You could be special in your class iif not everyone has the same personality as you. Having a kind personality can make you a hero instead of a bystander. You can be the hero that saved the day or even, a person who risks their life to try to make something the way you want the world to be. Being kind can lead you to anything you would want to do. Being kind can make people around you a better person themselves instead of the person they were before.

In conclusion, I would rather be the kindest kid in class rather than the smartest or funniest kid in class. I would want to be the kindest kid in class because being kind is a good trait to have throughout your life, you should always be kind to everyone no matter if they are your friends,  and a kind personality is something you might have, but other people might not have like you. Would you want to be the kindest kid in class or the smartest, or even the funniest? Well, I would want to be kind and the reasons right above tell you why. One last time, I would want to be the kindest kind in my class, other than the smartest or the funniest.
