Graphical Analysis: Interpreting graphical tools such as charts, graphs, maps, and diagrams and integrating their information with text to gain a more complete understanding of the subject.
Structural Elements Understanding: Students will learn about the organizational patterns texts can follow, such as cause and effect, comparison and contrast, and chronological order.
Critically Assessing Text Features: Evaluating how text features contribute to the text's effectiveness, discussing how various features can enhance or detract from reader comprehension and engagement.
