Success Stories
Kindergartener Kiara has been accepted into two prestigious private schools in New Jersey, including the highly selective Princeton Day School. She’s also advanced two grade levels in both math and reading. Her parents, Iti and Gaurank, share how she flourished intellectually and emotionally in less than a year with Genie Academy.
Before kindergarten, Kiara has always been a curious and analytical child, studying different topics to deepen her knowledge. She’s always been an avid reader too, reading a book every night and pronouncing words even a primary school student would have difficulty mentioning. While Iti and Gaurank saw remarkable potential in Kiara, she only went to a daycare center back then, which had no set lesson plan. As her skills grew, so did the need to optimize her learning through a personalized curriculum. Iti also shared that they wanted to use Kiara’s free time constructively, instead of spending time on devices that could limit her potential. Delighted with Genie Academy’s personalized lesson plan, they enrolled Kiara in their abacus math, core math, and reading programs.
In just nine months with Genie Academy, Kiara has flourished both intellectually and emotionally.
Today, Kiara is soaring above her peers academically, placing at the 99th percentile for both math and reading in her MAP assessments. Mesmerized by her cognitive abilities, her aptitude is being assessed as almost two grades above her current level! Iti also shared that out of all her classmates, she’s the only one to reach the hard level during their in-app educational sessions.
With her excellent academic standing, it’s no wonder that Kiara managed to enter the highly selective and top ranked Princeton Day School as well as the prestigious Chapin School in New Jersey. Members of the academy immediately saw Kiara’s incredible potential, so much so that they’ve been raving about her upon seeing her in the newcomers’ assembly. Upon entering the hall, the teachers were calling her by name and praising her academic prowess.
She’s also breaking barriers in Genie Academy as she reaches grade 3 level in the abacus course and 1st grade level in core math.
On top of her achievements, Kiara continues to grow emotionally as well. Thanks to Genie Academy, Kiara has improved her confidence, which drives her to consistently level up in school. She has also gained the habit of prioritizing and finishing her Genie Academy assignments in the morning. At Genie Academy, Kiara’s abacus teacher Coach Paola praises her zest for learning. “Kiara has always been an incredibly bright child. She is eager to learn, and more importantly, eager to be challenged. I wasn't surprised when I learned that she had been accepted into multiple private schools because I had known early on that she was destined for academic success. I can't wait to see the other amazing achievements Kiara accomplishes in the future!,” says Coach Paola.
All in all, Genie Academy has instilled in her the confidence, motivation, and discipline to master her lessons. “It’s like a flywheel…Genie Academy has set the momentum for her to continuously level up her skills,” shares Gaurank.
Kiara's parents also attribute Genie Academy's personalized curriculum to her ongoing success. "Since each child’s curriculum is tailored to their individual needs, Genie Academy nurtured Kiara’s unique potential and accelerated her growth," shares Gaurank.
Kiara's journey is truly remarkable, showcasing the power of personalized education and nurturing a child's innate potential. It's evident that Kiara's journey is just beginning, and with the unwavering support of her parents and the guidance of Genie Academy, she is poised to continue scaling new heights. We are truly grateful to witness a genius in the making!
