Abacus Mental Math

Genie Academy’s Abacus Program is designed to teach arithmetic on the abacus, an ancient tool. Picture your child rapidly calculating complex addition, subtraction, multiplication, division problems. They then learn to visualize the abacus and do complex mental calculations. 

This program is best suitable for children ages 3.5 to 11

Core Curriculum Math

Genie Academy’s Core Curriculum Math program is designed to teach grade level math that is aligned with New Jersey’s SLS standards developed by the NJ Department of Education. Designed for students from elementary to high school levels, this program aims to build a strong foundation in mathematical concepts while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

Reading ELA

Genie Academy’s Reading ELA classes focus on Reading Comprehension, Writing, Phonics, Spelling, Sight Words, Vocabulary, Grammar/Language Arts. It is designed to develop a solid foundation for literacy. We begin with Phonics and build to the other skills within our ELA program. Learning phonics is crucial for children as it builds a strong foundation for reading and writing, enhances reading fluency and comprehension, improves spelling, boosts confidence, and supports diverse learning styles, laying the groundwork for future academic success.
