My name is Madhuri Ray but my students know me as my nickname, Miss. Rima! I am currently a Math and English teacher at Math Genie, primarily in East Brunswick and South Plainfield. Some of you might also be familiar with me because of my blog! So a little bit about myself, I graduated from Rutgers University with honors and a Degree in Political Science and Public Health and I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Global Policy. Some fun facts about me include, I have the cutest puppy in the world named Ace. I love to play tennis, I am an avid cook, and I hope to attend law school one day. All my life I have worked with kids ranging from summer camps, to after school programs at the court house and the YMCA. I am so thankful to have finally found an environment that incorporates my two favorite things, children and education at Math Genie! I am a firm believer in education, because education has always been and continues to be a huge part of my life. I truly enjoy working with kids and I believe creativity and imagination can go a long way. The best part about working with children for me is that, they are always filled with such excitement, questions and passion about the world. I love Math Genie because not only do I get to spread knowledge and educate the children I teach, but I learn from them as well! I am deeply committed to growing teaching and learning with them day by day.
